Melissa and I went to Pasadena Ballroom tonight. She was singing with the Esquires Big Band. At the end of the night, Wolf (clarinet player / band leader) backed up his car to load the band gear. It was a Mercedes wagon. I asked if he knew that Mercedes cars can be converted to run on vegetable oil. He knows a lot about biodiesel and I learned that his father is a diesel mechanic and has a shop in Torrance. I told him I was considering buying a Mercedes to convert and run on veg oil, and Wolf offers to keep an eye out for any used cars for sale.
