The original format is Super8.
The transfer was done by projecting the film on a wall and
videotaping it on VHS. It is the VHS copy that was
transferred to DV, preserving every crappy glitch. I'd
eventually like to transfer directly from the Super8 to DV,
but for now, this will have to do.
For those of you who know Bozeman, you might recognize some
of the locations. When we shot this, we got kicked out of a
bank parking lot for trying to stage a fake bank robbery
after hours, so we went to the next logical place -- the
federal building. We didn't waste any time setting up the
shot -- just grabbed it and ran. I'm guessing you can't get
away with that anymore!
